Agawam Soccer is fielding a record 26 teams in the Roots Soccer League for the 2026-27 season and is still filling several open coaching positions while final roster assignments are made. Games begin the weekend of September 12. Put your name forward through the volunteer registration form on the club website. The club runs a published Coach Incentive Program: a head coach receives half the one-child registration discount for taking a team and the full player discount once they complete the Grass Roots Coaching Course, and an assistant receives half of that. Credits are issued on 1 October and 1 June.

The Roots Soccer League is recruiting new and returning referees across Hampden, Hampshire and Franklin counties. Training is run by the Mass State Referee Committee and every novice official gets on-field mentoring. The league's published fall/spring pay scale runs from $25 for a 7U-8U center through $40 (9U-10U), $50 (11U-12U), $60 (13U-14U) and $70 for a 15U-18U center, with assistant referee fees of $40-$45 on 11v11 games. Getting started costs money before it earns any: the MSRC certification course is $115 and a starter uniform and kit runs about $60, which the league notes you recoup quickly at a $25 minimum game fee. Payroll runs on the 15th and the last day of each month.

IFA New England is hiring club coaches to deliver sessions at its Regional and EDS programs across New England, including the West region covering the Pioneer Valley, where the boys compete in MLS NEXT and the girls in GA Aspire and DPL. The coach reports to the Regional Manager and develops an assigned team through practices, games and tournaments across the fall, winter and spring seasons, following the IFA methodology.
