1. What this site is

WesternMassSoccer.com (the "Site") is a free public directory of soccer in Western Massachusetts, operated by an independent web publisher based in Massachusetts. It lists youth clubs, leagues, high school and college programs, fields, camps, tryouts and jobs across Western Mass.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any club, league, school, conference, governing body, or any other organization listed here. We do not run leagues, register players, take payments for programs, or place players on teams. Every registration, payment and roster decision happens with the organization itself.

2. Accepting these terms

By using the Site you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the Site. There is no account to create and nothing to sign, using the Site is the agreement.

The Site is written for parents, coaches, players and administrators. It is not directed at children under 13, and children under 13 should not send us messages through the contact form.

3. How the directory is compiled

Listings describe soccer organizations, programs, facilities and events across Western Massachusetts.

A listing is not an endorsement, a ranking, or a paid placement. Organizations do not pay to appear and cannot pay for a better position. Where a placement is paid, it is labelled, see Section 9.

4. Accuracy, and its limits

Youth soccer changes constantly: coaches move, registration windows close early, fields get reassigned, and clubs merge or fold. Some information here will be out of date at any given moment.

Always confirm dates, times, locations, fees and eligibility directly with the club, school or league before acting on anything you read here. Do not rely on this Site alone for a tryout date, a registration deadline, or whether a field is open.

We do not publish live field status. Whether a pitch is playable on a given day is a decision for the town or the club running the game, the field pages carry their contact details so you can ask them.

5. Corrections and takedowns

If your organization is listed incorrectly, or you want a listing updated or removed, tell us through the contact form and we will fix it. Corrections from the organization itself take priority over anything we have gathered elsewhere.

If you believe material on the Site infringes your copyright, send us a notice through the contact form identifying the work, the URL of the material, and your contact details, along with a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised. We will review and remove infringing material promptly.

6. What you must not do

• Scrape, bulk-download or systematically copy the directory to build a competing listing or a mailing list.
• Use contact details published here to send unsolicited commercial messages to clubs, coaches or schools.
• Attempt to break, overload, probe or gain unauthorised access to the Site or its hosting.
• Misrepresent yourself as acting for WesternMassSoccer.com or for any organization listed here.
• Use the Site for anything unlawful, or in any way that harasses or endangers a young player.

We may restrict access to anyone who does these things.

7. Intellectual property

The written descriptions, page design, code and the compiled arrangement of the directory belong to us. Club and school names, crests, logos and colors belong to those organizations and appear here for identification only.

You are welcome to link to any page here, and to quote a short passage with attribution and a link. Republishing whole pages or the underlying dataset requires our permission.

8. Advertising and sponsorship

The Site is free and is paid for by advertising. Two kinds appear:

• Google AdSense, automated display ads. We do not choose or approve individual ads, and their appearance is not an endorsement.
• Direct sponsors, local businesses and clubs who buy a placement from us, shown in the sponsor sections and banners. See the advertising page.

Buying advertising does not buy a directory listing, a better position in a listing, editorial coverage, or removal of a competitor. Directory content and advertising are kept separate.

9. Links, maps and embeds

The Site links out to club, league, school and news sites, and embeds map tiles from OpenStreetMap, weather from Open-Meteo, and a public news feed. We do not control those services or the sites we link to, and we are not responsible for their content, availability or policies.

10. No warranties

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any listing is current.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Massachusetts law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site, including a missed tryout, a closed registration, a wasted trip to a field, or an injury sustained at a venue listed here. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred US dollars.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts sitting in Hampden County, Massachusetts, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Not enforcing a provision on one occasion does not waive it.

13. Changes to these terms

We update these terms when the Site changes. The "Last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version, which lives at westernmasssoccer.com/terms. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
